Speed. Divert without slowing the flow.

PIVORA® sorts every boxed product in your warehouse – cartons, plastic totes and polybags alike. The next generation of Swivel-Wheel Sorting technology.
The name spells out the technology: precise pivoting motion, high velocity, freely programmable orientation and controlled rotation — in one disc.
NewOne sorting module instead of several: Flowsort modules with PIVORA® technology cut the complexity, the capital cost and the running cost of a sorting solution.
With the next evolution of Flowsort's proven swivel-wheel sorting modules, we close the last gap in the warehouse: film-wrapped goods. PIVORA® technology is a hybrid drive for sorting and conveying in a minimal footprint — and that makes sorting solutions markedly simpler. The discs go into the Flowsort platforms you already plan with – Eco Flow, Speed Flow and Multi Line Diverter – so a proven line gains a new capability instead of being replaced. With PIVORA® you cut complexity and cost at maximum productivity, extend the modular product design and increase flexibility.

PIVORA® combines a roller-based drive with a belt drive in a single sorting disc. The rollers deliver the grip and the pivoting motion, the belts keep the whole contact area driven — so every item on the line is conveyed and sorted, from a heavy carton to a slack polybag. One drive concept for transport and sortation, in the same footprint.
The rollers carry specially shaped fins that maximise the number of line contacts with the item. More contact points mean more static friction — and that is what lets one disc handle very different goods.
The belt does two jobs at once. Its particular surface texture makes it a transport belt for the goods — and the same belt drives the rollers.
Turn the PIVORA® module, zoom into the disc geometry and check the interfaces before you plan – directly in your browser.

Rigid goods are easy — every diverter moves a carton. Flexible packaging is where conventional swivel-wheel sorters lose grip, and where the PIVORA® disc keeps it.
| Packaging type | Flowsort PIVORA® | Conventional swivel-wheel sorters |
|---|---|---|
| CartonsRigid boxes — the classic case for any diverter. | handled | handled |
| Plastic totes & traysSmooth, stable surfaces with a defined footprint. | handled | handled |
| Polybag / Poly BagsTransparent PE film bag — textiles, spare parts, consumer goods. | handled | not handled reliably |
| Flowpack / Tubular BagFilm sealed all around, typical for food and technical parts. | handled | not handled reliably |
| Shrink Pack / Shrink filmFilm heat-sealed tightly around the product. | handled | not handled reliably |

PIVORA® is not a separate machine. The discs go into the Flowsort platforms you already plan with — in single or mixed configurations, within one and the same line.

All boxed goods in a warehouse: cartons, plastic totes and polybags. The combination of transport rollers and transport belts creates a high number of contact points, so even flexible packaging is gripped reliably.
Yes. The PIVORA® discs are fully compatible with the EcoFlow, SpeedFlow and MultiLineDiverter product lines and integrate into the modular Flowsort design – in single or mixed variants.
Up to 6,000 pieces per hour at a transport speed of up to 2 m/s and a sorting reliability of up to 99.5 %. The exact figures depend on product mix and layout.
The name is built on pivot — the pivoting disc whose rotation changes the direction of travel. The letter groups carry that idea further: PI for precision and pioneer, VO for velocity and vector, OR for orientation, RA for rapid and rotation.
